Swami Narayan Chhapaiya Mandir
Description
Swami Narayan, the founder of the Swami Narayan Sampraday, established temples, known as mandirs (Devnagari: स्वामीनारायण मन्दिर), as part of his philosophy of theism and deity worship. These mandirs are Swaminarayan Hindu temples.
This temple location is 50 km east of Gonda district headquarters and 1.5 km south of Swami Narayan Chapia railway station. This site is the holy land of Hindu saint Swami Sahasandananda. Also known as Ghanshyam Pandey or Swami Narayan, who was born on April 3, 1781 (Chaitra Shukla 9, vSatva 1837). Above all Swamiji constructed many temples, he used to perform his duties in the form of their construction. In the same way, Swamiji left the body in 1830 AD while waking up his devotion towards religion.
