About Gonda Mahotsav
Gonda Mahotsav or Gonda Festival is a campaign running in Gonda district. The local administration of Gonda District started this campaign. The motive behind this is to give a new identity to the city. Thus to promote local talent in the Gonda festival, not only cultural programs centered on various folk arts. But there is also a gentleman’s goodwill rally too.
In the festival, talent is invented from sports competitions like hockey, kabaddi, volleyball, and an effort is being made to keep alive the fading folk art forms of Birha, Farwah, Dance, Aalla etc. by providing platform. At the five-day Gonda festival, All India Poet Conference and Kulhind Musaera are also take place.
